Things might have turned out differently for Jackson and April! If since the beginning of season 17 of Grey’s Anatomy, many deceased characters have returned to the series, episode 14, broadcast on TF1 this Wednesday, March 16, this time brings back a living protagonist. This is April Kepner (Sarah Drew). The latter had left the fiction at the end of its fourteenth season and had married Matthew (Justin Bruening, who also admitted that Jackson and April were made for each other). The actress has indeed revealed to Insider what the screenwriters had first imagined for this couple so beloved by viewers. “The pitch given to me was thatApril must have been heavily pregnant with Matthew’s baby. And when Jackson came home to convince April going to Boston with him, Matthew wasn’t there. Then there was a storm outside and Jackson had to help April to deliver her baby at home, and thanks to this experience, April would have decided to take his whole family to Boston with Jackson“, confided the actress, who also recounted the very disturbing and difficult scene that she shot a few hours before her delivery.

“Jesse and I talked regarding it and thought the audience would be happier if they held out some hope of April and Jackson reuniting.has followed Sarah Drew.
