On the other hand, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the downing of 3 Ukrainian fighters and 4 marches, and the destruction of 128 Ukrainian military facilities within 24 hours. It confirmed the destruction of more than 1,350 tanks and 111 fighters in Ukraine since the start of the war.

A senior official in the US Department of Defense announced that the Russian forces are at a distance of 15 to 20 km from the center of the capital, Kyiv, to the northwest.

He also confirmed that Russia has so far fired 950 missiles at Ukraine, adding that the Russian convoy near Kyiv is still stuck, and is not advancing, despite the Ukrainian capital being subjected to more bombardments.

The US Defense Department official also said the US has delivered military aid to Ukraine over the past 24 hours.

A video clip, published by the International Committee of the Red Cross, showed several trucks leaving the city of Debrecen, Hungary, and arriving at the Ukrainian border crossing point for Syrit, Romania, carrying aid into Ukraine.

A spokesman for the Kyiv fire department said at least two people had died and 74 had been rescued.
