Today, Wednesday, Spanish press reports revealed Barcelona’s plan to include Liverpool star Mohamed Salah during the upcoming summer transfers.
And the Spanish newspaper, Mundo Deportivo, reported that Barcelona sees signing with Norwegian star Erling Haaland as difficult, as the choice is on Mohamed Salah, the Liverpool star.
And the newspaper added, that the Barcelona administration knows the difficulty of signing with Salah, given that Liverpool will ask for a huge amount of money in light of the expiration of the “Mo” contract in the summer of 2023.
According to the Spanish newspaper, the Barcelona administration will first start selling some players in the team, such as Philippe Coutinho, Umtiti, Neto and Martin Braithwaite, in addition to providing the salaries of Sergi Roberto and Osman Dembele at the end of their contract this season.
And the newspaper concluded, that the Barcelona administration is waiting to pump money into the club’s treasury through sponsorship rights and cooperation agreements expected to be concluded in the coming weeks.
Salah’s contract with Liverpool is scheduled to expire in the summer of 2023, but the Reds administration is seeking to renew the contract with the 29-year-old, who is waiting to receive the appropriate estimate in order to stay at Anfield.
And British press reports revealed that the Liverpool administration has a desire to appreciate Salah by getting the highest paid in the club’s history, in return, “Mo” wants to get double his salary, nearly 400 thousand pounds.
It is worth noting that Salah moved to Liverpool from Roma in the summer of 2017, in a deal estimated at 50 million euros.
