Navigation disrupted in the US Chesapeake Bay due to the stranding of the Evergreen ship.

Bloomberg Agency said that a huge ship belonging to the company “Evergreen Marine Corp” ran aground in the US Chesapeake Bay, which led to navigation in the Gulf.

The agency stated, quoting officials, that efforts have been underway since last night to try to free the ship and will continue until today, and that the US Coast Guard is monitoring the situation.

The company said in a text message on Tuesday that Evergreen had arranged for divers to inspect the ship for any damage and were engaged in a coordinated effort to re-float the ship as quickly as possible. The company added that an investigation is underway into the cause of the delinquency.
