The minister interrupted: “I cannot take responsibility for that statement. I insist and we say it once more, President Boric said it, the minister said it and I reiterate it. There is no established charge for Felipe Berríos.”
“So, that position in the housing ministry, did they not repent for the criticism they received?” The journalist asked once more.
Vallejo’s face became more annoyed and he clarified: “It was not contemplated, it has no charge, it was not a request from the President, or anything. And we made that clear.”
However, the communicator insisted once once more: “The contradictory thing regarding the appointment is to criticize the Church for being a cover-up of abuses and then appointing a priest. I ask him once more if he rules out or denies that the decision has been reversed due to criticism.
To conclude, the current spokeswoman clarified: “Constance, I’m going to be stupid regarding this. I don’t know if it’s worth repeating it, but no.”
