Netflix’s ‘Squid Game’ wins another victory in the US… ‘Emmy Award’

Netflix’s original series ‘Squid Game’ won two gold medals at the American Critics’ Choice Awards, raising the possibility of winning an Emmy.

The Squid Game won the 2nd tour at the American Critics’ Choice Awards held on the 13th (local time). In addition to the award for Best Foreign Language Series, actor Lee Jung-jae won the award for Best Actor in a Drama Series. Unfortunately, in the Best Drama Series category, the HBO series ‘Succession’ gave up its place.

The awards ceremony is hosted by the Critics’ Choice Association (CCA), which is made up of American broadcasting and film critics. Along with the Golden Blob Awards and Emmy Awards, this awards ceremony is considered one of the major awards in the TV broadcasting industry.
