Royal Air Maroc inaugurated, this Sunday, the first direct flight of its regular line between Casablanca and Tel Aviv.
To celebrate this event, a Moroccan delegation made up of economic operators and personalities from the world of culture, took this flight to the Israeli metropolis as part of an inaugural trip to take part in a series of economic and cultural meetings with their Israeli counterparts.
“We are pleased to inaugurate this direct link to Tel Aviv, the first in the history of the National Company. We offer our customers direct flights between the two countries in less than five hours and a unique travel experience on board our aircraft. Our Skytrax 4* quality of service is a real benchmark in the Africa and Mediterranean region. Through our Casablanca Hub, and as a member of the oneworld Alliance, we directly connect more than 80 destinations around the world, making it one of the most dynamic networks on the continent,” said Hamid Addou, Chairman and CEO of Royal Air Morocco.
The effective launch of the new route will take place at the rate of four frequencies per week initially, to quickly increase to five flights per week. Flights are scheduled from Casablanca on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday at 11:55 p.m. (Morocco time) with an arrival in Tel Aviv at 6:15 a.m. (local time).
Flights departing from Tel Aviv are scheduled for Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday with take-off at 07:15 (local time) and arrival in Casablanca at 12:10 (Morocco time). This new connection meets the expectations of the Moroccan community established in Israel, which maintains strong ties with its country of origin. It also aims to allow tourists, as well as businessmen and women, to travel to Morocco or Israel.
