With a convincing performance, Jett Lawrence (Honda) won the 4th round of the US East Coast Championships in Detroit ahead of his pursuer Cameron McAdoo (Kawasaki).
Round 4 of the East Coast Supercross Championships at Detroit’s Ford Field: The Australian championship leader Jett Lawrence (Honda) dominated qualifying and also won the heat. In the decisive final drew stylish Robertson (Husqvarna) the Holeshotbut already went in the first round Lawrence in the lead while his pursuer in the championship, Cameron McAdoo (Kawasaki) had to work his way forward from midfield following a bad start. McAdoo went in round 11 in the field of Whoops an Brown over and reached P2. In the end he was no longer within striking distance of the leading Australian.
Lawrence won easily with a lead of 6.5 seconds McAdoo and Brown and thus marked his 3rd victory of the current season. He was able to extend his lead in the table from 5 to 8 points. Round 5 of the US East Coast Championships will be held in Indianapolis next weekend.
