The American software development company, Microsoft, revealed yesterday (Wednesday) its intention to add new improvements to its latest operating system, Windows 11, by providing the system with the Clipchamp video editing application and the Microsoft Family Safety application for parental control. And Microsoft explained, according to the American “theverge” website, that the clipchamp video editing application will become the successor to the famous Movie Maker program, as the new video editor will be integrated into the Microsoft 365 suite and will appear as a separate application on the system.

Clipchamp offers a huge library of templates, media, filters, styles and transition effects, allowing users to create videos with multi-track audio, text-to-speech and voiceover features in more than 70 languages, and the ability to share the video directly to social media platforms. With regard to the Microsoft Family Safety application, it provides Windows 11 users with a set of tools that enable parents to monitor all Microsoft accounts used by the family in one place, with functions very similar to those offered by parental control applications.
