Barcelona, Mar 12 (EFE) .- The leader of Cs in Parliament, Carlos Carrizosa, lamented this Saturday the entry of Vox’s “right-wing populism” into an autonomous government following the agreement reached by the PP with the formation of the extreme right in Castilla y León.
In statements to the press in Lleida, Carrizosa recalled that Vox’s entry into the government is a consequence “of an electoral advance that was made for political reasons” and that it has led to the change of “a moderate government” with Cs for another with “right-wing populists”.
Carrizosa lamented that the two major parties have not been able to agree and reach agreements “to guarantee governability.”
“It cannot be that the PP and PSOE regulate the governability of Spain to the populist parties, as the PSOE has done in the Government of Spain and the PP in Castilla y León,” he assured.
He has also referred to the fact that the president of Castilla y León, Alfonso Fernández Mañueco, has stated that one of the conditions of the pact with Vox is to respect the constitutional mandate.
“Can you imagine that Cs had to give guarantees that the constitutional mandate is respected? That is only when parties that are suspected of not abiding by the Constitution in all its terms enter,” he said.
