Seat could lay off nearly 3,000 workers due to the arrival of the electric car

Seat has encrypted between 2,500 and 2,800 jobs d’surplus derived from the transformation of the company into electrificationin the framework of the fourth meeting of the 20th collective agreement.

He also stressed that the salary remuneration is between a 15% and 25% above average of the sector, and that the implementation of the proposals included in the union platform would increase the cost of a 25 and 30%. “We will continue the dialogue with the unions to reach an agreement that favors us all, guaranteeing a framework of stability that favors the competitiveness of the company,” added the automaker.
