Manchester United said its French defender Raphael Varane has returned to training after recovering from the Corona virus, before facing Tottenham Hotspur in the English Premier League on Saturday.
Varane, who has made only 22 appearances for United in all competitions this season due to injuries, missed the 4-1 loss to Manchester City at the weekend.
Edinson Cavani is also likely to return to the squad after missing the match against City with an injury, while striker Cristiano Ronaldo trained alone.
Luke Shaw, the team’s left-back, was absent from the City match due to Covid-19.
United is fifth in the league with 47 points from 28 games, two points ahead of Tottenham, who played 26 games.
