The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah reviewed the most important developments related to the implementation of the decision to lift the precautionary measures in the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque.
The ministry stated that the immunization status check for entry to the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque was canceled for all guests of Rahman, as well as the abolition of the requirement to register immunization data to obtain a Umrah permit in the event of coming from outside the Kingdom.
She indicated the abolition of prayer permits in the Grand Mosque and permits to visit the Prophet, peace be upon him, and his two companions, and the continuation of issuing permits to perform Umrah and visit the honorable kindergarten, stopping the application of distancing measures in the Grand Mosque and the Noble Prophet’s Mosque, and continuing to oblige to wear a muzzle while in them.
It noted the abolition of the requirement to submit a negative result for an approved PCR examination or for an approved examination of coronavirus antigens, and the abolition of the requirement of institutional quarantine and home quarantine for pilgrims coming from outside the Kingdom.
