Game News Forspoken: a twirling and explosive preview of PS5 gameplay during the State of Play!
Earlier this week, the developers at Luminous Productions announced the postponement of one of Square Enix’s next big hits, namely Forspoken. The game had made the decision to afford a few additional months of development to be released in optimal conditions. However, that did not prevent them from publishing a new trailer today and responding during this State of Play.
Forspoken takes time
As indicated above, and following many rumors which evoked the announcement of a postponement which would take place during a PlayStation event, Forspoken took the lead by issuing an official press release : very sad news for those who were eager to lay their hands on the title of Square Enix next May. Unfortunately, we will have to wait five more months since the game will finally arrive on October 11, 2021.
The announcement fell like a cleaver and we weren’t really expecting to get a trailer today due to the bad news earlier this week, but it is not so since Forspoken was illustrated for nearly two minutes, to everyone’s delight, and which adds to the one published during the PlayStation Showcase last September
Worlds collide!
Here we are very happy to find Frey who arrives without warning to bring us striking images of his mystical adventure, as if to be forgiven for this postponement of a few months. Very quickly the trailer gets to the heart of the matter by illustrating a Dantesque fight once morest a huge dragon, just enough time to show us some antics of Frey and the extent of his powers.. If the little that we see for the moment is eye-catching, Frey will nevertheless have to push his limits to get by.
In addition to her heroine as fast as she is agile, the next production from Square Enix takes the opportunity to reveal to us the immense environments that Frey Holland will cross at high speed, while slaying the monsters standing in her way. As you will have understood, the trailer is rhythmic and offers us some glimpses, certainly very fast, of the fights and Frey’s skills which will greatly help him to move in these gigantic decorations which make up the world of Athia.
Hooking points, bodies of water to surf on and many other things that we will have to discover in the coming months. In the meantime, Luminous Productions is putting the package on the frenetic aspect of the game to make our mouths water until October 11th.
