Mac Studio: the full version of the new Apple computer will cost you more than 10,000 euros

During its “Peek Performance” Keynote broadcast this Tuesday evening, Apple announced several expected devices, such as a new, more powerful iPhone SE, and a new iPad Air. But the Apple brand has mostly devoted half of the presentation to a new computer for professionals.

A monster of power

The Mac Studio, a kind of ultra-boosted Mac Mini, is so powerful that it ridicules the performance of the old Mac Pro. By doubling the M1 Max chip, Apple has developed the M1 Ultra, a chip that is likely to shake the competition.

But rather than looking at the technical characteristics of the machine, let’s look at its price, very “Apple”. The Mac Studio, sold without a screen, is available in two versions. The first, with an M1 Max chip, at 2329 euros, and the other with the famous M1 Ultra, at 4629 euros.

But Apple does not stop there. It is also possible to boost the processor for 1150 euros. To increase the memory for 920 euros. Or to benefit from 8 TB of storage, once morest the basic 1 TB, all for “only” 2530 euros.

If we add a license of Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro, that gives us a machine at 9728.98 euros.
