[이데일리 강경록 기자] The 10th episode of ‘SNL Korea 2’, which was scheduled to air on the 12th, was ultimately canceled due to Shin Dong-yup’s Corona 19 Hwajin judgment.
A-Story, the producer of Coupang Play’s original comedy show ‘SNL Korea 2’, said on the followingnoon of the 9th, “We would like to inform you of the cancellation of the recording of ‘SNL Korea 2’ on the 10th and the cancellation of the 10th episode scheduled to be aired on the 12th. On the 9th, a major crew member was confirmed to have been confirmed with COVID-19 and was found to be positive, so the production team decided to cancel the studio recording and broadcasting this week in order to take a preemptive response.”
‘SNL Korea’ has been filming while complying with the quarantine guidelines to prevent COVID-19, such as checking the temperature of all power sources and conducting self-diagnosis kit tests before recording, and disinfecting the entire studio through a professional quarantine company three times before and following recording.
However, as the main cast member, Shin Dong-yeop, was confirmed to be Corona 19 today (the 9th), it was inevitably decided to cancel the recording.
‘SNL Korea’ side said, “We have been trying to bring laughter through comedy at a time when many people are having a hard time due to the spread of COVID-19. I give,” he said.
