The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Preventive Health Affairs, Dr. Abdullah Asiri, responded to those who underestimate the Corona pandemic.
Asiri confirmed that Corona killed at least 6 million people globally in just two years, which exceeds the death rates from other diseases.
He explained that tuberculosis kills 1.5 million people globally, AIDS kills one million people annually, while the influenza virus kills 0.5 million people annually.
The Ministry of Health had announced several days ago that the Kingdom is nearing the end of the Corona pandemic, which began nearly two years ago.
