We have indeed given the green light to shoot a second season of the fiction produced by Encore Television, in collaboration with Quebecor Content.
In an interview with the QMI Agency, the authors Michel Brouillette and Stéphanie Perreault did not hide their joy in laying new intrigues. They are working on the first four episodes of the next season, which might bring back some characters.
“The dramatic curves that are not completed will continue in the second season,” said Stéphanie Perreault.
Among the returns, we might think of Félix (Anthony Therrien) who faces a recurrence of cancer and Albert (Malick Babin), the boy in a coma who also narrates the series. Characters who have been discharged from the hospital may also return to visit their friends.
“Some will stay and there will be new young people who will arrive,” confirmed Michel Brouillette, adding that viewers will be fixed at the end of this Tuesday’s episode.
“We are aware that people are attached to the characters. We are still in shock at the reaction of people, we receive a lot of messages saying that the series is good,” said Stéphanie Perreault.
As they also give the answer to the young actors of the series – he plays a physiotherapist and she a psychologist – the authors Michel Brouillette and Stéphanie Perreault are in the front row to salute the talent of the rising generation. “We are the lucky ones to play with them,” she slipped.
The filming of the second season should start in July under the leadership of Yan England, who will return to service.
The most recent confirmed figures from Numéris for the week of February 14 to 20 show 1,218,000 viewers for “Les bracelets rouges”.
