GTA 5 PS5 and Xbox Series X/S prices announced

“GTA 5” will soon conquer the third generation. But what prices do buyers have to pay on the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S? There are first indications.

Update: The new-gen version of “GTA 5” has also appeared in the PlayStation Store. Until mid-June you can even buy the PS5 version of the Rockstar blockbuster there at a reduced price of 9.99 euros. After that, 39.99 euros will be due.

Original message: A few days ago, Rockstar Games released the technical details of the new-gen versions of “GTA 5”. For example, you can adjust to three graphics modes that give you a prettier game, more performance or even a focus on ray tracing. Hands were also put on in other places.

Rockstar Games did not initially name a price. However, the first retailers began to list “GTA 5” for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. This includes the online shop Game Room, where the title stays in the catalog for 40 euros.

More official information comes from the Microsoft Store, where “GTA 5” is now listed for Xbox Series X / S. In the Australian store the new version is listed for 59.95 Australian dollars – the equivalent of around 40 euros. Pre-orders and early buyers can get the new-gen version dubbed Grand Theft Auto 5: Story Mode through June 14, 2022 for AUD$29.97. That’s the equivalent of around 20 euros.

It is still unclear what price players who already own a copy of “GTA 5” and want to switch to the PS5 or Xbox Series X/S versions have to pay. However, one haunts Screenshot through the Internet, which features the PS5 version of the title in a store listing priced at AU$15. However, it is not clear whether this is the complete game.
