The maximum price of gasoline will reach a new record on Tuesday. Those who fill up with 95 E10 gasoline will then pay a maximum of 1.9510 euros per litre, the Federal Public Service Economy said on Monday. The new maximum price is 8.2 cents per liter higher than the previous one. The maximum price of 98 E5 gasoline increased on Tuesday to 2.023 euros per liter (+4.6 cents).
The price of diesel has been above 2 euros per liter since Saturday. For this you now pay a maximum of 2.084 euros per liter at the pump.
In addition, fuel oil becomes more expensive on Tuesday. Its maximum price increases by 4.95 cents to 1.1851 euro per litre, for orders of at least 2,000 litres. This too is a new record.
Price increases are due to petroleum products or biocomponents becoming more expensive in international markets. Oil prices have been on the rise since Russia invaded Ukraine.
