Tonight, Apple will hold its second fall presentation this year, called “Maximum Performance” (Peek performance). On the event, which will begin broadcasting at 21:00 Moscow time, the presentation of the new iPhone SE, iPad Air and Mac is expected. Note that Apple has disabled the ability to watch its spring presentation on the official website and YouTube for users with Russian IP.
Almost all rumors agree that today Apple will introduce the third generation iPhone SE. Externally, the novelty is unlikely to be anything different from its predecessor, presented in the spring of 2020. In fact, the novelty will receive the design of the iPhone 8, which debuted almost 5 years ago. This means that the smartphone will receive a small by today’s standards 4.7-inch display, which will be surrounded by “old-school” wide frames.
Key changes in the third generation iPhone SE will be hidden inside. According to rumors, the smartphone will receive an Apple A15 Bionic chip – the same as in the models of the current iPhone 13 family. This chip will provide 5G support.
Another novelty might be the iPad Air tablet computer, which will also receive 5G support. The latter will be provided by the same Apple A15 Bionic chip, which is already used in the latest generation iPad mini. But in terms of design, the new tablet is unlikely to be very different from its predecessor, released in 2020.
The third novelty is rumored to be the new Mac, and in this area the choice of candidates is quite wide: from the new Mac mini to the 13-inch MacBook Pro or iMac. It is assumed that the novelty can be built either on the powerful M1 Pro or M1 Max chip, or on the new M2.
Finally, just yesterday there were rumors that Apple might also introduce a new professional monitor today.
