Nicolás Maduro announced this Monday night that the national dialogue between his government and the Venezuelan opposition will be reactivated.
“We have decided to reactivate the process of national dialogue with all the political factors in the country. The dialogue of Mexico received a heavy blow, but if we ask for dialogue with the rest of the world we have to reactivate our dialogue. We are going to reformat our dialogue, to make it broader, more inclusive. All political guarantees must be given. We are going to an immediate reformatting and a revitalization of the national dialogue for the recovery of Venezuela, for the plurality of Venezuela », he said.
Maduro concerned regarding escalation of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict
In a political and military leadership meeting at the Miraflores Palace, Maduro expressed his concern that the armed conflict between Ukraine and Russia spread to Europe and Latin America. He extended a call for peace.
