These are “Croustibat – Petits Trésors 450g” breaded fish, from the Findus brand and marketed in Carrefour and Auchan supermarkets, everywhere in France since January 26th. If you have purchased them, they should not be consumed: the lot is recalled due to the potential presence of foreign bodies, namely small pieces of white plastic likely to cause serious injury, indicates the Rappel.conso.gouv site.
The batch concerned bears the number L2012CL066, the GTIN code 3599741002871 and the health mark DE HB 00145 EG. The date of minimum durability written on the packaging was set at 31/01/2024. Note that only production times between 8:15 p.m. and 8:50 p.m. are affected by this recall.
Consumers are invited to either destroy them themselves, or bring them back to the store to be reimbursed for their purchase by Auchan and Carrefour. A few days earlier, Intermarché had recalled minced chicken for a similar reason, notes Capital.
