The Secretary-General of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe Helga Schmid said in a meeting, Monday, that the 57-member organization has completed the evacuation of its international staff from Ukraine.

“I am pleased to inform you that the remaining teams of international mission members have now moved to safety,” she added, according to the text of her speech.

“This means that nearly 500 international members of the mission, who were in Ukraine at the start of the Russian military operation, have been evacuated,” she said.

The United States withdrew its staff from Ukraine, while Britain moved its monitors from rebel-held areas to government-controlled areas.
