The situation between Russia and Ukraine is a war that affects the Ukrainian population enormously. Messages and donations of support are made in many ways around the world and of course, this also applies to the video game industry. The most amazing thing is to see that this is also done through a game that has not had new content since 1994, with DOOM II.

DOOM II for the good of mankind
John Romero is a well-known name among FPS enthusiasts and especially the PC community. The interested party is obviously well aware of this and of the importance of a series such as Doom. It is therefore natural that he takes advantage of this notoriety for the good cause, by deciding to release a new level for DOOM II.
The particularity of the level entitled One Humanity is that it is possible to buy it for the sum of 5€. One might find it a little pricey for just one level, but 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Red Cross, as well as the Central Emergency Response Fund.
According to the official website, One Humanity was created by John Romero himself, in order to help Ukraine. It is thus possible to afford the WAD file, to receive new content for a game that has not had any for 28 years. While helping a good cause.
