Now that the Nintendo Direct is over, it’s the next one’s turn PlayStation Showcase/State of Play to be the subject of all speculation by budding insiders. After the now famous Tom Hendersonit’s the site’s turn GameReactor to add a little grain of salt around the rumor of a PlayStation event in Marchwith information that might be announced as early as this week.
A disrupted schedule?
According to the site’s sources, a PlayStation event will indeed take place in March, as has been reported by several insiders. The fact that Grand Touring 7 is released clears the way for Sony, who can now communicate more easily regarding the rest of PlayStation Studios games, especially those that do not yet have dates despite being planned for this year (like God of War Ragnarok).
However, and still according to the sources of the site, some studios have reportedly asked to postpone the show for at least a week or two due to the ongoing war in Ukraine. Whether it was accepted or not, it seems that announcements and a show are still planned for the month of March according to the site.
