Albania named the street where the Russian embassy is located ‘Free Ukraine’

Tirana: Albania has named the street where the Russian embassy is located ‘Free Ukraine’ in protest of Russia’s occupation of Ukraine. The street where the Russian and Ukrainian embassies are located in the Albanian capital, Tirana, is being renamed Free Ukraine, Tirana Mayor Arion Veliaz announced today.

The mayor said the new name would be a reminder of the Russian embassy located here. From now on, Russians will receive letters on Free Ukraine Street. The mayor said the Russian occupation would also be a reminder while working and living here.
