Saudi Arabia announces lifting of precautionary and preventive measures related to combating the Corona virus

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – The Saudi authorities announced, on Saturday, the lifting of precautionary and preventive measures related to combating the Corona pandemic in the Kingdom.

And the Saudi Press Agency quoted an official source in the Ministry of Interior as saying that “it was decided to lift the precautionary and preventive measures related to combating the Corona pandemic, as of its date.”

Under the decision, the application of social distancing measures in the Grand Mosque, the Prophet’s Mosque, mosques and mosques was stopped, while still obligating the wearing of a muzzle in them.

The decision includes stopping the application of social distancing measures in all places (closed and open), activities and events. In addition to not requiring the muzzle to be worn in open places, while still obligating it to be worn in closed places.

In addition to not requiring the submission of a negative result for an approved “PCR” test or an approved antigen test for the Corona virus before coming to the Kingdom.

While it stipulated to come to the Kingdom on visit visas of all kinds that there be insurance to cover the costs of treatment from infection with the Corona virus during the period of stay in the Kingdom.

And Saudi Arabia canceled the application of institutional quarantine and home quarantine for the purpose of combating the pandemic on those coming to the Kingdom.

The suspension of direct entry to the Kingdom was lifted, as well as the lifting of the suspension of all flights to and from the Kingdom to countries: South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, the Kingdom of Lesotho, the Kingdom of Eswatini, the Republic of Mozambique, the Republic of Malawi, the Republic of Mauritius, Zambia, Madagascar, Angola, Seychelles, United Republic of the Comoros, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Afghanistan.

The official source in the Saudi Ministry of Interior stressed the importance of continuing to complete the implementation of the national plan for immunization, including taking the (third) booster dose, and applying health verification procedures in the “Tawakulna” application to enter facilities, activities, events, events, boarding planes and public transportation.
