Dr. Mahmoud Shaheen, Director General of Forecasting and Early Warning revealed at the Meteorological Authorityregarding his forecast for the weather in the coming hours, explaining that it was noted that there is a semi-pentagonal air depression that entered the Egyptian borders, which caused the presence of wind activity throughout the Republic and a decrease in the horizontal visibility with the presence of dust storms in the open places.
Shaheen continued, by phone, to the “Al-Hayat Al-Youm” program, presented by the media, Lubna Assal on Al-Hayat channel, that the governorates were affected this evening, Sunday, by northwesterly light winds, and it is expected that vision will improve in the coming hours with a decrease in temperatures tomorrow at an average rate. 5 degrees Celsius.
Tomorrow, he added, there will be a state of calm in the wind masses, with the visibility completely improving at the beginning of the day in all governorates of the Republic, and temperatures will decrease by 5 and 6 degrees.
The Director General of Forecasting and Early Warning at the Meteorological Authority confirmed that the winter season will end at the end of March and not currently, as some think, as temperatures are expected to drop by 10 degrees Celsius at the end of the week, stressing the need to wear winter clothes and excluding the use of summer clothes during that period.
He also advised citizens not to loosen clothes, and said: “Loosen clothes should be done with caution, because the coming days we will witness rises and drops in temperatures, and with the change in air masses, rain will occur.”
