The aim of this program is to improve mobility and traffic, taking into account the risk of congestion of the communication channels caused by the urbanization which continues to grow between the city of Casablanca and the Province of Nouaceur, concerns the districts of Anfa, Hay Hassani and Ain Chock in Casablanca as well as the communes of Dar Bouazza, Oulad Azzouz and Bouskoura in the Province of Nouaceur.
The program in question, the implementation of which will require the mobilization of an investment of which an initial estimate amounts to 1.7 billion dirhams, includes the realization of the development works of eight hoppers, four interchanges and overpasses, five new lanes and roundregardings, as well as the widening and extension of two lanes.
The works envisaged will make it possible to reduce traffic congestion for better mobility and territorial connectivity in the western area of Casablanca, through several roads in the region, in particular the Azemmour road (RR320) which will be widened into 2×3 lanes on a linear of 3 km and reinforced by the development of six hoppers.
The lane between the Azemmour road and the RP 3012 will be converted into 2×2 lanes (Dar Bouazza) over 1.2 km, as well as the panoramic lane which will be converted into 2×2 lanes over 900 m and then through the road to El Jadida (RN1) on which an interchange will be built at the intersection with the south-west bypass and vertical axes that will be built between the RR 320, the RP 3014 and the RP 3018 and between the panoramic road, the RR 320 and the RP 3014.
The program in question will be added to several projects to improve the road network and mobility in progress or being launched, including in particular the widening of the RN1 into 2×3 over 7.5 km, the duplication of the RP 3003 over 6 km, the duplication of RP 3018 over 6.5 km, the duplication of RP 3009 over 6.4 km and the BHNS line over 12 km in progress.
