Forced, for health reasons, to leave the world of butchery, Steeve intended to bounce back in a field that appeals to him. “He got up one morning with an idea: he wanted to create a restaurant where we might have fun throwing axes,” says Priscilla, his wife. The morning idea will not stop there. Steve says: “We are both passionate regarding the world of Norse mythology, the “Games of Thrones” or “Vikings” series. We wanted to create a place inspired by this world by combining fun activity and restaurant. The concept is in the head, it remained to materialize it, even if it means looking at what is being done elsewhere.

“We headed to Bordeaux where an establishment offers ax throwing. Left to take measurements, technical information, we quickly left aside the meter and spent a great evening. The confirmation was there, Steve saw his idea take shape. “From there, I had identified what I wanted. We methodically set out to design Ragnarok with the goal of developing it as a brand. »
Secure cages
The Ragnarok in Boé is a large room marked by the Viking atmosphere, wood on the walls, animal skins, shields, wooden tables, Thor’s hammer, all good for setting the mood. Question restaurant menu, no need to look for traditional Nordic dishes. Groats and boiled meat have given way to a substantial list of burgers. Then, arcade games and, finally, a series of cages where ax throwing takes place. Real axes await the amateur. Undoubtedly weapons that the famous peoples of the North in the Middle Ages would not have denied.
