Vienna – On Sunday, one day following far-reaching openings, 28,463 new corona cases were reported in Austria. That’s above the seven-day average of 29,006. The seven-day incidence rose once more to 2,331, on Saturday it was 2,273 with 31,289 new infections. 22 other people died across Austria in connection with the virus. 2,469 people were hospitalized for the coronavirus, 191 of them in intensive care units.
