The Sinaloa Ministry of Health reported 172 new cases of Covid-19 and 1,208 active patients.
The municipalities where the new infections were detected were Culiacán with 56 cases; Guasave with 48; Mazatlan with 46; Ahome with 13; Salvador Alvarado, Angostura and El Fuerte registered two, while Navolato, Sinaloa de Leyva and El Rosario share one.
Regarding the municipalities with the highest numbers of active cases, in Culiacán 554, Ahome 265, Mazatlán 231 and Guasave 71 were confirmed, the rest remain with less than 30 cases.
The daily report also recorded 2,134 suspected cases to be confirmed and three deaths.
Since the start of the pandemic, Sinaloa has accumulated 120,547 cases, 9,661 deaths, and 109,678 recovered patients.
Currently, hospital bed occupancy is 96 percent; In addition, the entity continues in yellow at the epidemiological traffic light, it will be until next Monday, March 7, when it changes to green and will remain in that color until Sunday, the 20th of the same month.
