A total of 293 new cases of COVID-19 contagionof them 292 of community origin and one importedwere detected in the last 24 hours, raising to 516 thousand 236 the confirmed cumulative total, while the recovery rate is 98%, when adding a total of 505 thousand 306 healed patients, thanks to the free treatments guaranteed by the Bolivarian Government.
This was announced this Friday by the sectoral vice president of Communication, Culture and Tourism, freddy nanezduring the usual daily balance offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19, through its account on the social network, @luchaalmada.
He reported that the community cases of the day were detected in 18 states: Zulia (146), Barinas (31), Lara (21), Caracas (17), Anzoátegui (15), Sucre (14), Yaracuy (14), Táchira (7), Miranda (7), Cojedes (4), Guárico (4), Aragua (3), Mérida (3), Falcón (2), La Guaira (1), Portuguesa (1), Carabobo (1) and Monagas (1):
The entity with the highest number of cases in the day is Zuliawith active infections in four of its 21 municipalities: San Francisco (117), Maracaibo (21), Mara (7) and Cabimas (1):
The imported case from Panamacorresponds to a man who entered La Guaira by air:
Reported the unfortunate death of two new victims of COVID-19, to add five thousand 645 deaths to date:
- One from Anzoátegui: 76-year-old man.
- Un de Lara: 91-year-old man.
