Turkish billionaire Muhsin Bayrak says he is in talks with Roman’s lawyer AbramovichOwner Chelsea The English club, in order to buy the club, following it was put up for sale earlier.

Top businessmen Todd Boehle and Hansgorge Weiss appeared among the candidates to buy the club for nearly 3 billion pounds, but now Bayrak has entered strongly, confirming that he will raise the Turkish flag in London soon.

The businessman said in statements to the Turkish newspaper (Yeni Şafak), Friday: “We are negotiating the terms of the Chelsea purchase with Roman Abramovich’s lawyer. We are in the stage of negotiating signatures. We will raise the Turkish flag in London soon.”

Who is Mohsen Bayrak?

Bayrak comes from one of the largest families in Turkey, and is also the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the IB Group, which has investments in the construction, tourism and energy sectors, which he founded in 1999, and is headquartered in Istanbul, but also operates in Italy, Greece and Spain . The company, valued at $11 billion, is said to have investments in London as well.
