He added: “You may feel the worst when your relative dies, you feel very bad, but it is worse than that. I cry out of nothing. Everything is in my head, you imagine where you were born and raised, it became an empty land.”

He continued, “Honestly, if it weren’t for my daughter and my family, I would have gone there. I was born like this, I know the mentality of my people. I am very proud that I am Ukrainian, and I will remain that way until death. Ukrainians would rather die than surrender.”

How Zinchenko criticized the Russian players?

And the Manchester City player sent an angry message to the Russian players regarding their silence on what is happening, saying: “I was surprised that none of them said anything.”

And he added: “Most of them play in the national team and have a lot of followers on social media. They can at least do something to stop this war, because people can hear it.”

He concluded: “I know they are afraid, but they are afraid of what? At least they can express their position on what is happening, but they do not do that, they just ignore it, I don’t know why.”
