Girls’ Generation’s leader Taeyeon and Wonder Girls’ leader Sunye met following 12 years.
Singers Sunye and Kahi appeared as guests on tvN’s ‘Amazing Saturday’ (hereinfollowing ‘Nolto’), which was broadcast on the 5th. The two, who were active as idols, recently appeared on ‘Mom is an Idol’ (herefollowing ‘Mamadol’) and caused a sensation.
Girls’ Generation and Wonder Girls are legendary girl groups that divided the girl group scene in the 2000s.
Taeyeon, the leader of Girls’ Generation, and Sunye, the leader of Wonder Girls, met on this day for the first time in 12 years since ‘Wonderful’ in 2010.
Sunye said, “Taeyeon worked hard at everything before, and there was nothing she didn’t do as an MC or DJ. I might feel the pressure to work hard enough to be salty.”
Taeyeon showed respect for Sunye, saying, “I’m the same age, but I’m a senior in life. I’m experiencing things I’ve never experienced before. It’s like another level to me.” To this, Sunye replied, “I went a little earlier.”
Currently, Kahi and Sunye, who became mothers following marriage, are living abroad.
Shin Dong-yup said, “I realized how difficult parenting really is.” He said, “I met Sunye on another program a while ago, and he said that he had to go to Canada soon.
Kahi said that she came to Korea with her family, but Sunye came alone, saying, “I feel betrayed. I will come alone, too.”
