Since October 15 in Brussels and November 1 in Wallonia and Flanders, the Covid Safe Ticket has been imposed in many sectors such as nightclubs, in the Horeca, in healthcare establishments, indoor events or exteriors bringing together more than 50 people, in cultural venues or in sports centres.
But this obligation is now falling by the wayside. Indeed, from March 7 Belgium will switch to code yellow , the lowest level on the corona scale. Consequently, a series of new relaxations has just been recorded as the end of wearing the mask and the famous CST. It will therefore no longer be necessary to present your Covid Safe Ticket at the entrance to a restaurant or any other place.
The issue of the CST had been at the heart of political debates for several weeks. A few days ago, while the corona commissioner, Pedro Facon, had once more insisted on the importance of maintaining the CST , the Walloon justice had relented, judging the maintenance of the latter unjustified. On February 25, the authorities also decided that it was no longer necessary to have made your booster to keep your health pass. As a reminder, the CST was issued to anyone who had received their doses of vaccine, had a certificate of recovery or had carried out a negative PCR test in the last 48 hours.
