Tao and Hossam Hassan lead Al-Ahly’s squad against Al-Merreikh

Pitso Mosimane, coach of the first team in Al-Ahly club, announced the list of the red giants that will compete once morest Al-Merreikh Al-Sudan, to be held in the African Champions League competitions.

Next Saturday, Al-Ahly will face the Sudanese team Al-Merreikh at Al-Ahly Wei Al-Salam Stadium, in a postponed meeting from the first round of the group stage of the African Champions League.

Al-Ahly’s list witnessed the presence of 21 players, including a trio of goalkeepers, along with the likes of them in the offensive line, including Hossam Hassan, while Mohamed Mahmoud and Louis Mickison continued to be present.

Al-Ahly’s list was as follows:

Goalkeepers: Mohamed El-Shennawy, Ali Lotfi and Mostafa Schubert.

Defense lines: Ramy Rabea, Mahmoud Waheed, Ali Maaloul, Mohamed Abdel Moneim, Karim Fouad and Mohamed Hani.

Midfield: Hamdi Fathi, Hussein El-Shahat, Aliou Diang, Amr Al-Sulayya, Mohamed Magdy Afsha, Mohamed Mahmoud, Taher Mohamed Taher, Louis Mickison and Ahmed Abdelkader.

Forwards: Hossam Hassan, Mohamed Sharif and Percy Tau.

Al-Ahly is seeking to achieve its first victory in the group stage of the Champions League, following a negative tie in the first meeting once morest Al-Hilal of Sudan, and a defeat in the second confrontation once morest the South African Sun Downs with a clean goal.
