Joe Biden will hold a virtual summit with leaders of Japan, Australia and India this Thursday
US President Joe Biden will hold a virtual summit on Thursday with the leaders of the other members of the Quadrilateral Security Dialogue (Quad) that groups Japan, Australia and India, according to the Indian Foreign Ministry.
The Ministry’s communication did not mention the crisis in Ukraine, noting that Biden “will exchange views and assessments on important events in the Asia Pacific region” with Prime Ministers Fumio Kishida, Scott Morrison and Narendra Modi.
The statement came a day following Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin for the second time since Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine last week.
