On March 2, local time, Capcom announced that it will release the PS5 / Xbox Series X | S version of “Resident Evil RE: 2”, “Resident Evil 7 Biohazard”, and “Resident Evil 7” by the end of the year.
These versions are said to be the PS4 / Xbox One version with enhanced visuals for the latest generation machines. The details of the visual enhancements have not yet been revealed.

For users who own the PS4 / Xbox One version of each title, it is possible to upgrade to the PS5 / Xbox Series X | S version for free.
In addition, a free upgrade patch will be distributed to users who own the PC version. It seems that it is possible to play under the enhanced graphics even in the PC version.
