Justice will seek to reconstruct the group rape that occurred this Monday in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Palermo from six videos that were captured by different security cameras that recorded moments before and following the abuse, when the victim was rescued by a couple of merchants who called 911.
Due to the fact there six young people arrested accused of aggravated sexual abuse. They were summoned to preliminary statement this Wednesday by Judge Marcos Fernández, in charge of the Criminal and Correctional Court 21. The 20-year-old victim is in good health and has already been discharged from the Rivadavia Hospital where he had been hospitalized.
What the videos show
The videos are listed in the case as key evidence.
- The first of the films that Judge Fernández has is the one that can be seen when White Volkswagen Gol traveling along Córdoba Avenue in the direction of Serrano street. Thanks to the Digital Ring it was possible to detect that the vehicle passed through the intersection of Sánchez de Bustamante street at 3:53 a.m.on February 28 and continued along Córdoba Avenue, always in the direction of Serrano Street, in the Palermo Soho neighborhood.
- As it was possible to reconstruct, the young people were registered at noon in the Plaza Serrano area, where a camera from the Urban Monitoring Center (CMU) of the City Police captured the moment in which one of the accused approaches the victim. There it is seen when they meet with the rest of the young people and then leave to supposedly go to the vehicle where the abuse occurred, the sources indicated.
- Another one of the videos is a 12:29 p.m. shot recently released from Diggs bar security camera, located on Calle Serrano at 1,500. There, the young woman can be seen hugging one of the defendants, presumably Ángel Ramos, who was wearing a gray shirt and a green cap.
- In that sequence composed of three videos From various chambers of commerce it is seen that the young people were accompanied by other defendants, who are believed to be Tomás Domínguez and Alexis Cuzzoni. This footage shows how the victim walked with difficulty and exchanging a few words with one of his companions.
- A sixth video shows the six accused together with the victim sitting at a table located in a kiosk from the same block where they were captured minutes before. It is recorded as one of the young people, presumably Domínguez, gropes the victim, who is visibly under the influence of some substance. The images also capture Cuzzoni and Ramos and two other young people who have not been linked to the investigation so far.
- The seventh video is one of the first films of the event made by a neighbor of the area who took the exact moment in which the accused were increased by a merchant in the area, who called 911 and warned of the situation, and rescued the young woman who was able to get out of the Volkswagen Gol car.
- Finally, the transfer of the six defendants was recorded through the cell phones of several people present, who insulted the young people when they were put on the patrol cars of the 14A Neighborhood Police Station.

The owner of the kiosk where the six young people consumed alcoholic beverages (sixth video) said that the victim is visibly in poor condition, “out of his mind.”
“The girl entered with the boy dressed all in black (Cuzzoni). They bought some beers and began to consume them. Then the other boys arrived. She saw the girl out of her mind, but I did not imagine that something like this would happen to her, “Jonatan said.
The merchant added that following the now arrested broke a table, he asked them to leave the place. “The girl was not well at all. I talked to her because he asked me to go to the bathroom and her letters slipped and he wobbled. They were in perfect condition. They were regarding an hour, “he said.
Who are the detainees
The six detainees were identified by the police as Ángel Pascual Ramos (23), Tomás Domínguez (21), Lautaro Pasotti (24), Ignacio Retondo (22), Alexis Cuzzoni (20) and Franco Lykan (24).
Police sources assured that none of those arrested have a criminal record and only one of them lives in the Villa Crespo neighborhood. The others are from different towns in the suburbs, one from Laferrere, another from San Miguel, from San Martín and the other two from Vicente López.
The case
The incident occurred on Monday followingnoon, at 1300 Serrano Street, in Palermo Soho, when six young people were in a Volkswagen Gol parked next to the sidewalk.
According to the neighbors, out of the car Two young men acted as “bells” and inside the vehicle four others were sexually abusing a 20-year-old girl.
The police officers arrested the six suspects, aged between 20 and 24, and were taken to the 14A police station of the City Police accused of the crime of “sexual abuse”.
