Game news Back 4 Blood: The Left 4 Dead-like celebrates a record with a first major DLC

At the end of last year, Turtle Rock Studios, creators of the Left 4 Dead saga, returned with an explosive cocktail: Back 4 Blood. Five months following its launch, the game passes a first milestone and takes the opportunity to unveil the content of its first major expansion.

A nice score for Back 4 Blood

Developer Turtle Rock Studios and publisher Warner Bros. Games decided to take the floor to announce the good news. Indeed, we learn today that Back 4 Blood was a real success since over 10 million players have tried the co-op experience.

Reaching such a milestone in such a short period of time is a historic event for our studio and this franchise. As we look to the future, we’re excited to build on our momentum with our next expansion, Tunnels of Terror, which will bring more co-op content to fans. A major DLC on the way

To celebrate this magnificent feat, Turtle Rock Studios is taking the opportunity to unveil the content and release date of its next major expansion titled Tunnels of Terror. The latter will offer players the opportunity to team up once more to participate in a new activity: Ridden Hives. It allows players to go through seven new levels, but also to face new zombies, including Urchins, which can lay mines, or Rippers and Shredders.

This new content also adds two additional playable characters, namely Sharice and Heng, as well as 15 new maps, new skins and legendary weapons.

Note that Tunnels of Terror will be available from April 12 and is included in the Season Pass, Deluxe Edition and Ultimate Edition of the game. And finally, players who do not own the DLC will still be able to join friends who have purchased the extension.
