Kabel Eins: “Elementary” replaces “Hawaii Five-0”.

From the end of November, Kabel Eins will provide a bit of variety in its followingnoon program, which will continue to consist of American crime series. But “Hawaii Five-0” will say goodbye at the end of the month for the time being. The last weekday episode will be shown on November 19th. It is the fourth season episode “Right Next Door”.

From Monday, November 22nd, the crime series “Elementary”, which was also ordered by CBS in the USA, will take over the 2 p.m. slot. Kabel-Eins fans already know the format. In the past, the broadcaster had the production at different points in the program, including in prime time or in the daytime program at the weekend.

The broadcast starts once more with the pilot episode. In “Elementary” Brit Jonny Lee Miller (“Trainspotting”) plays a modern day Sherlock Holmes with a dose of madness and irresistible charm. Lucy Liu is the first female Dr. Watson, who stands by her brilliant protégé as an equal partner.

Incidentally, the program environment has not changed. Before “Elementary”, Kabel Eins keeps repeats of “Castle” and “The Mentalist” in the line-up, following 3 p.m. it remains with double episodes of “Navy CIS: LA”, which are interrupted by the short “Kabel Eins News”.
