MADRID, March 1 (Archyde.com) – Spain will probably be one of the countries least exposed to the economic fallout from Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Spanish Economic Affairs Minister Nadia Calviño said on Tuesday.

“All the analyzes point to the fact that Spain is probably the least exposed country, both from the point of view of trade and energy exposure,” Calviño told reporters following the weekly meeting of the Spanish Council of Ministers.

“The most direct transmission channel (of the economic consequences) is going to be energy prices,” he added, since the country does not depend directly on Russian gas supplies.
