The journalist Sol Macaluso from ‘The Ana Rosa Program’ has spent the last three weeks in Ukraine narrating everything that is happening in that country and, despite the fact that the war with Russia it was likely, she didn’t think he was going to surprise her there and suddenly have to flee the country where she was working.
Macaluso recounted, unable to contain his tears, that your cameraman has asked you to take your young daughter with her, so he can return to Kiev, take up arms and fight the Russians to defend his country.
The young woman said that the bond that has been created with her peers is incredible: “I have known them for over a month. We have shared information all day and it is very hard that they have to stay to defend their country and leave their family.”
Sol pointed out that he has accepted his partner’s proposal and will take the girl and take care of her: “It’s my family now. She is my sister. That is exactly the hardest part. You commit, but you don’t know for how long. I spoke with my family and our work team in Madrid. The time it takes and what it takes. We are now a large and great family of amazing people.”
The cameraman must return in search of his wife, who is forty kilometers from Kiev, and his parents, who are located in a shelter, as they refused to leave the Ukrainian capital.
