Actress Ilham Shaheen revealed her opinion on the artist Athar Al-Hakim’s retirement from acting, expressing her condemnation of the recent announcement, even though she has been retiring for more than 20 years.
Elham Shaheen said during her meeting on the “Ink Secret” program, whoever wants to withdraw from the art scene must withdraw quietly without announcing, especially since there are many artists who have completely disappeared and did not announce their retirement, without talking regarding whether art is halal or forbidden.
Elham Shaheen cited the late artist Shadia when she retired and explained: “Shadia, when she retired, did not appear in programs or press interviews, she disappeared, did not answer the phone and moved away.”
Elham Shaheen sent a message to Athar Al-Hakim, in which she said, “If art is like this… why did you enter this profession if it did not respect it?”
It is noteworthy that the artist Elham Shaheen completed the role of “Zahra Al-Ghanim” instead of Athar Al-Hakim during the fourth part of the series “Nights of the Dream” by writer Osama Anwar Okasha.
