Doctors warn about the dangers of an overdose of vitamin D

UK National Health Service warned that excessive consumption of vitamin D can provoke dangerous diseases.

“Taking too many vitamin D supplements over a long period of time can cause too much calcium to build up in the body, which can harm the health of the bones, kidneys, and heart,” the experts explained.

It is noted that the most common consequence is the accumulation of calcium in the blood, causing nausea and vomiting. It also manifests itself as loss of appetite, a feeling of weakness and frequent urination.
