After the disappointing defeat in Rödinghausen, it was important for the SCP to get back on the road to success. With a 4:0 win once morest Straelen, this was also achieved, although the competitor from Essen also won and thus only kept up. After all, Fortuna Cologne did not get more than 1: 1 in the second representation of Fortuna Düsseldorf. However – and Hildmann also prays this down like a mantra – it only helps to look at yourself. So let’s look back at last Saturday:
Farrona Pulido back in the starting XI
Manuel Farrona Pulido and Jules Schwadorf returned to the starting XI once morest Straelen. Long-running favorites Nicolai Remberg and Darius Ghindovean took a seat on the bench. Thorben Deters moved from the wing to the center, Hildmann wanted to boost the offensive game with Deters and Schwadorf in eighth position – with success. After his comeback in Rödinghausen, it was Schwadorf’s first start since the first leg at Fortuna Köln. The inclusion of Farrona Pulido should also prove to be the right measure. SV Straelen seems to suit the winger. In the first leg, the German-Spaniard scored his first goal in the Prussian jersey with a fantastic free kick in the corner, this Saturday it was his first brace. The Adlerträger were allowed to celebrate for the first time following eleven minutes of the game. After a cross from the right by Henok Teklab, Pulido finished dry with his weaker right foot through the fray in five yards. It is important for the mind to set the course for victory early on.
Conversion of chances – everything as always
Then it happened, as so often this season. Prussia ran up, played good football, created chances. But didn’t use any of them until the half-time whistle. Whether it was Gerrit Wegkamp, Henok Teklab or Robin Ziegele, they all either failed due to Straelen’s well-disposed keeper Udegbe or completely spoiled the shots. Farrona Pulido, however, seemed spurred on by his goal. While Hildmann recently emphasized his outstanding training performance, he was now able to implement it in the game. Hopefully he can now preserve this form. A full pass over 60 meters to Thorben Deters, great crosses from the left, a lot worked for the 28-year-old. Why the Westfälische Nachrichten ended up with a grade of 2.5 remains a mystery. Still, the lead at half-time should have been much higher.
Hildmann follows up in central midfield
In the 20 minutes following half-time, Straelen slowly got the upper hand and approached Max Schule Niehues’ Prussia box. Cagatay Kader ran away from a corner and tested Prussia’s custodian, who was able to scrape a free-kick from the same keeper further down the line. Apparently, Straelen had exhausted himself so much in this phase that there was a lack of strength at the back. In the meantime, the Prussia coach for Schwadorf and Deters had reorganized the headquarters with Remberg and Ghindovean. Ghindovean had a tremendous chance soon following coming on, but was denied by Udgebe. So on in the 71st minute following a header, but the rebound landed in front of his feet once more and this time the new signing from Duisburg pocketed the ball to make it 2-0. After that it went in quick succession. Farrona Pulido scored the third goal of the day following a long Frenkert throw-in and a header extension by Remberg. From the turn, he pointed the ball through the braces of the Straelen goalkeeper. When Darius Ghindovean put the ball under the crossbar from Jan Dahlke at full speed, the mass was finally read. But Dahlke himself might have increased shortly before the final whistle, but following a cross from Teklab he put the ball wide of the goal.
The most important thing for last
Of course, this win was important to get three points and to be prepared for the next difficult games once morest Lotte, Wuppertal and Cologne. However, the most important sign was sent before the game. With a banner in rainbow colors and a dove of peace, as well as the inscription for peace in German, English and Russian, both teams set an example for peace in Europe. Thanks for that! Of course, the entire editorial staff of Nullsechs.de agrees with the message!
The Prussians will continue on Wednesday, when they have to catch up once morest the local sports fans at Lotter Kreuz.
All together for Prussia Münster!
