Prime Minister Jean Castex receives the main declared candidates for the presidential election at Matignon at 3 p.m. “for a meeting to follow up on the conflict triggered by Russia and the decisions taken by France and the European Union to respond to it”, according to a press release sent by his services – the exact list of invited candidates has not been transmitted. Jean-Yves Le Drian, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Florence Parly, Minister for the Armed Forces, and Gabriel Attal, government spokesperson, will also be present.
